Zero Harm is a Core Value at Kerman. The care and wellbeing of our people and the environment will always be our first priority. Kerman is committed to safe and sustainable practices by ensuring our work activities do not generate negative outcomes. These commitments are driven by our Directors and Senior Management and require practical implementation by our site teams. A continual improvement philosophy allows us to build on lessons learnt and constantly develop our systems. In order to maintain this high standard, we expect our people to be accountable for their actions, to lead by example, challenge unsafe work practices and engage in pro-active safety and environmental management.
Management and employee commitment will be the driving force to ensure that our Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems are implemented effectively. As a team, we will be driven by our aim to minimise the environmental footprint of our projects, reduce workplace illness and injury, while minimising the negative impact of workplace incidents.
Ongoing inspections and audits are regularly completed, both internally and externally, to monitor our compliance and system implementation.
Our intention to seek excellence in the areas of health & safety and environment will be supported by our commitment to meet and where possible, exceed client, statutory and legislative requirements.
