Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd (Kerman), with more than 43 Years’ experience, was established in 1981 by Brian Kerman. Kerman is a well-respected privately owned business that undertakes a wide variety of projects including the D&C/EPC of bulk storage / materials handling facilities and non-process infrastructure as well as the SMPE&I of process plants.

Kerman announced this month that at its May 2024 board meeting, Kerman’s Founder, Brian Kerman has after 43 years at the helm, stepped down from his role as Chairman and from the Kerman Board.  Chris Kerman, who started in 1989, becomes the new Chairman, initially in an executive capacity.

Mark Nagle, who has been with Kerman for over 12 years and has been instrumental in the running of the business over the last several years, will take on the role as Managing Director.

Peter Kerman also retired this month and is succeeded by Andrew Gerrard who has been with the business for over 20 years in both construction and project management roles. Peter will remain on the board as a Non-Executive Director.

John Griffiths, Kerman’s Company Secretary, has also rejoined the Board.

“The business has a mature succession plan which has been in place for several years now. These changes have been executed in line with this plan, as it’s important to us that the business continues to operate with the same ethos, professionalism, values and care that the Kerman family established; our succession plan facilitates that outcome,” stated Mark Nagle.
