Client: BHPB Iron Ore/R2G (Consortium of FAST and Calibre)
Project Value: $27.5M

Design & Construct brownfields project to provide a new fully enclosed and ventilated trip service facility for the BHPBIO loco fleet.

The facility covers two rail roads and is 66m long x 15.5m wide x 6m under the crane hook. It has a basement with elevated rails throughout to allow under loco inspection and a concrete apron 80m x 12m outside to allow pre-servicing and washdown. There are side and centre platforms inside to allow access onto the locos.

Maintenance services by way of compressed air, oil, water, degreaser and coolant were supplied to hose reel stations throughout the building. An extensive drainage system was installed along with an oily water separator plant.
