Kerman was engaged by Rio Tinto under a collaborative ECI arrangement to develop preliminary designs and engineering for non-process mining infrastructure and is delighted to announce a significant design & construction contract win valued at around $170m. The contract involves the detailed design and construction of non-process infrastructure for mining fleet maintenance, servicing, and administration of mining operations for Rio Tinto at its Hope Downs 1 mine site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The completion of the project expected for June 2027.
