A turnkey design and construction project forming part of OneSteel’s Project Magnet upgrade at their Whyalla operations.

The facility is designed to receive Hematite ore through a 3,000tph high rise conveyor gallery discharging into a 240,000 tonne stockpile building. The ore is then outloaded at 3,500tph through new reclaim conveyors onto existing OneSteel shiploader conveyor.
This storage facility meets stringent environmental conditions and includes a negative pressure dust system and second generation diesel fume system.

This brownfield project required significant integration of mechanical and electrical infrastructure by Kerman.
